Mums and Bubs classes are tailored for new mothers to restore a sense of well being whilst connecting with your baby.

Classes are designed with postures (asanas) and sequences (vinyasas) and breathing practices (pranayama) to build strength and resilience to the postnatal form. Jess specialises in relaxation and meditation and all her classes include these practices.

This course is the perfect way to bring your awareness into your body and embrace the changes that have taken place through pregnancy and birth.  The class will help to gently relax, lengthen and strengthen muscles and also touch on ways to feel confident and sure of your role as a mother.

Share with other mums, an informal lighthearted time connecting with your Self; bonding with your child and spending time with like-minded mothers. Mums and Bubs classes are for all abilities and no yoga experience is required. At the end of our class there is time to stay and enjoy a freshly made juice and chat with other mums while your little ones socialise.

Jess has a background in childcare and has been working with children and families in a variety of settings for the past 10 years. Her years of experience have given her the tools to help guide and nurture new mums and babies in her yoga classes to ensure their care and safety at all times.

Common Questions:

What age is appropriate for my baby to be to attend?

These courses are terrific for mums with babies who are a minimum of 6 weeks and is suitable up until they are actively moving around independently.

What if my baby is unsettled through the class?

Try and come to class with not too many expectations on how it will be.  Some classes you may be able to join in the whole class, other days your baby may be unsettled and you have to breastfeed or walk them around.  It's OK that they cry in class, it's not unusual if there are times of chaos.

Is it social?

This is a great class to meet other like minded women. There is always opportunity to chat together and have your little ones socialise too!

What do I need to bring?

Yoga mats will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own as well as a blanket for your baby to lay on during the class.

What if I miss a class?

For each 6 week course, there will be an opportunity to make-up one missed class. Make-up classes need to be pre-booked. Please call ahead of time to inquire whether there is space available in the course. Your make-up class is preferably used within the 6 week course period but also for 2 weeks after the course has finished.

Can I join part way through a course?

Yes, you can join part way through the course, places are subject to class size.
